Key Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages. Support students in developing strong numeracy and problem-solving skills. Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback and targeted support. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a dynamic and effective Maths curriculum. Requirements for a Maths Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Maths at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
