Job Details
Coordinating mutual repairs to shared Council/third party ownership buildings.
Assist in the delivery of an effective and efficient void repairs and maintenance service to East Lothian Council tenants, maximising efficiency of service delivery within specific standards and approved budgets and in compliance with the Council's policies and plans with a commitment to achieve best value.

Job Requirements
* Relevant Qualifications: Relevant HNC/SVQ3 or equivalent in Building, relevant Scotvec Level 3 technician qualification or other relevant building maintenance qualification and/or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through previous experience.
* Driving Licence: As the duties of this role require travel to undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Where a disability precludes you from obtaining a driving licence, ELC will consider reasonable adjustments.
* Level 2 Disclosure Clearance: This role requires Level 2 Disclosure Clearance. ELC will submit a Police Act Disclosure application on behalf of the preferred candidate and receipt of the certificate will be required prior to commencement.
* Overseas criminal record check: If you have spent more than 3 months working or living outwith the UK in the last 5 years you will be required to present a copy of an overseas criminal record check. Details of how to apply are on GOV.UK.
