Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Children's Home Manager for a full-time on-site role based in Great Yarmouth. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and providing high-quality care and support for the children. The manager will lead, motivate, and supervise staff, maintain health and safety standards, manage budgets, and create a nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and development of the children. Collaboration with external agencies and stakeholders to meet the needs of the children will also be essential.
Qualifications
* Proven skills in leadership, team management, and staff supervision
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance standards, and safeguarding practices
* Experience in managing budgets, creating care plans, and meeting operational goals
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Relevant qualifications in social care, child development, or residential care management (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care)
* Previous experience working in a children's residential care setting
* Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders
* Commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children
