* Champion innovation by exploring emerging technologies and applying systems engineering principles to shape diagnostics systems for ADAS.
* Lead development and integration of executable system models that clearly describe and visualise complex system behaviour.
* Validate system performance and behaviour through rigorous testing and analysis to meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
* Embrace continuous improvement, actively refining designs and processes to enhance the customer experience.
* Identify less visible or emerging issues and collaborate cross‑functionally to develop creative, effective solutions.
* Contribute to the growing knowledge base of ADAS systems at JLR, supporting standardisation, best practice sharing, and professional development.
What You’ll Need
* Strategic thinker with experience in diagnostics, degradation, and health management for assisted and automated driving systems.
* Skilled in issue triage, debugging, vehicle testing, and integration with a team‑oriented mindset.
* Experienced in Model‑Based Systems Engineering using Simulink and Stateflow; authoring and reviewing requirements with formats such as EARS.
* Proficient in change and configuration management and grounded in Systems Engineering principles.
* Familiar with driver‑assistant technologies: computer vision, image processing, machine learning, path planning, sensor fusion, vehicle dynamics, control.
* Knowledgeable in key standards and protocols – ISO 14229, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, CAN, FlexRay, SOME/IP, DoIP.
* Experience with simulation tools (CarSim, Unreal, CarMaker, DriveSim) and data analysis using Python or MATLAB; understanding of Six Sigma methodologies.
