The Role
1. Leading a team of technical staff as Operations Manager across London, delivering high-quality responsive repairs services, and driving operational performance
2. Managing high-value repairs and maintenance contracts in London, ensuring commercial control and service quality targets are consistently achieved
3. Driving service improvement initiatives across London, implementing change programmes that enhance productivity and resident satisfaction
4. Overseeing Mechanical and Electrical programmes as Operations Manager, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and successful delivery outcomes
5. Collaborating with contractors, consultants, and council stakeholders across London to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement
Requirements
6. Proven experience as a Operations Manager in London or similar environment, managing responsive repairs contracts at scale
7. Strong leadership skills as a Repairs & Maintenance Manager, with the ability to engage, coach and motivate technical teams
8. Extensive knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical programmes within a London-based housing or local authority setting
9. Demonstrable experience managing budgets, commercial performance, and service delivery as a Housing Repairs Manager
10. In-depth understanding of housing legislation and landlord compliance requirements relevant to London or wider social housing sector
