A leading European provider of market research services is continuing to scale following sustained growth and recent acquisitions. As a result, they are hiring a Sales Director to join their London-based team, with flexibility for remote working.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant autonomy, combining new business development and account management in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
The role
* Own new business development within a defined territory, selling market research panels to buyers across research, media, PR, advertising and communications
* Consistently deliver against individual revenue targets, building a strong and active pipeline
* Present confidently to new prospects and existing clients, quickly establishing credibility and long-term relationships
* Represent the business at UK market research conferences and industry events
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients, handling briefs, feasibility, proposals and upsell opportunities
* Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery and high client satisfaction
* Stay close to product developments, industry trends and competitor activity
About you
* Strong network among data collection buyers, agencies or end clients
* Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
* Experience selling multi-country studies would be advantageous
* Commercially driven, highly organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills
* Calm under pressure and effective in fast-moving environments
