Delivery Consultant – AI & Data Recruitment
📍 Manchester City Centre (Portland Street) | Hybrid | UK & US Markets
A high-performing, boutique AI & Data recruitment business in Manchester is hiring a Delivery Consultant to support UK and US growth.
This is not a traditional 360 role.
It’s a sales-led delivery position for someone who excels at candidate engagement, spotting commercial opportunities and operating in a consultative way — but who may not see business development as their primary strength.
You will work closely with senior leadership, delivering into retained and exclusive roles while helping expand into new markets.
The Role
* Deliver on retained and exclusive AI/Data mandates
* Work across both UK and US markets
* Conduct high-quality, insight-led candidate conversations
* Gather market intelligence and identify commercial opportunities
* Spot leads and feed them back into the business
* Build credible, long-term relationships with clients and candidates
This is a “270-style” role — not pure account management and not full 360 — but commercial and client-facing.
There is flexibility to progress into a 360 role over time if desired and demonstrated.
The Market
You’ll operate within AI, Data and broader Technology recruitment, ideally placing:
* Software Engineers
* Other technical specialists
The business prioritises retained and exclusive partnerships and focuses heavily on quality metrics and strong ratios.
UK average fees are around £15k, with significantly higher earning potential in the US market.
For context:
* Previous hires have billed £150k–£200k
* £500k is viewed as a strong performance benchmark
* Leadership has billed £350k–£500k+ personally
* The long-term ambition is to build £500k+ and eventually $1m billers
What They’re Looking For
* Minimum 1 year recruitment experience
* Ideally from a tech recruitment background
* Process-driven and disciplined
* Strong CV-to-interview and interview-to-placement ratios
* Self-starter who works independently
* Commercially sharp and engaging
