Childrens Registered Manager Location: Dudley, West Midlands Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum performance bonuses Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to oversee a brand-new 23 bed childrens residential home in the Dudley area, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new service from the ground up, shaping a positive culture and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. Key Responsibilities Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager and ensure the home meets all regulatory standards. Lead, develop, and inspire your team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and behaviour management practices. Manage budgets, staffing, and rota planning efficiently. Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and the local community. Drive continuous improvement and maintain an Outstanding Ofsted rating. Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in a senior role within a childrens residential setting (Deputy or Registered Manager level). Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards). Excellent understanding of Ofsted regulations and Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Passionate about providing outstanding outcomes for young people.
