Description: We are hiring for our client, a well-established manufacturing business, seeking a Dayshift Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Toome. The successful Dayshift Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance, reducing downtime, and supporting efficient operations across the site — all within a Monday–Friday days-only shift pattern.

The Role:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across plant and machinery
* Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the siteEnsure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety standards
* Work closely with production teams to maximise operational efficiency
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
The Person:
* Experienced Maintenance Engineer/Fitter (electrical or mechanical bias)
* Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Proactive approach with the ability to work independently
* Good communication and team collaboration skills
* Strong awareness of health & safety practices
