* Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
* Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
* Assist in preparing reports for the accounting and finance department.
* Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
* Support month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Respond to supplier and client queries in a professional manner.
* Assist in improving financial processes and procedures.
Profile
A Successful Accounts Assistant Should Have
* AAT studier or similar
* A background in accounting or finance-related roles.
* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to work well within a team and independently.
