Service Administrator – Student Placement
Calling all Undergraduates looking for a one‑year Industry Placement. We have an opportunity available for a motivated and enthusiastic Service Administrator to join us based in our Head Office in Rochdale on a 12‑month Student Placement. The successful candidate can expect to receive comprehensive training, coaching, and support.
The Role:
* To create Anti‑Theft reports from incidents on the daily activity report & issues incoming from customers – investigate, download footage, screenshots
* To commission installations and to provide customers with sign off documentation following installations, service visits and decommissions.
* To ensure a regular program of tower checks.
* To manage and coordinate customer communication to make them aware of the site going live and the processes involved.
* To provide administration and communication for the WCCTV Heartbeat system.
* To liaise with the monitoring station that sites are commissioned and decommissioned correctly.
* To provide administration support to the Operations Team.
* Update data within the department – always ensure accuracy (software, spreadsheets & folders).
* Provide occasional weekend & Bank Holiday support on a rota basis.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with all parts of our business.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Proven teamwork ability.
* Experience in a customer service‑based role.
