Sales Engineer (AWS/Azure)

My client a fast-growing SaaS company providing cloud-native Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery solutions. We're looking for a Sales Engineer with strong AWS and/or Azure expertise to support both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
In this customer-facing role, you'll help organisations design, evaluate, and successfully implement cloud-based data protection strategies-playing a vital role from first contact through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored demos of AWS/Azure-based backup and DR solutions
* Lead technical discovery and guide customers through proof-of-concept (POC) stages
* Translate business needs into secure, scalable cloud architectures
* Respond to technical sections of RFPs and compliance questionnaires
* Support onboarding, implementation, and early adoption
* Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams
Key Skills
* Proven experience with AWS and/or Azure infrastructure
* Knowledge of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and security best practices
* Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions (native or third-party)
* Strong communication skills and a consultative, problem-solving mindset
* Background in sales engineering, DevOps, solutions architecture, or technical support
