Overview
Three Rivers Academy is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and motivated individual who is ready to make a real difference in the lives of our students. This is a permanent, term-time role (39 weeks per year), 36 hours per week (5 days); or fewer days and hours may be considered for the right candidate. The school aims to maximise opportunities for young people to develop academically and socially in a stimulating, caring and supportive environment. The academy is proud of its inclusive ethos and high-quality facilities in Surrey; Ofsted judged the school GOOD in every category in October 2024.
The role supports teachers in adapting lessons, nurtures student independence, and contributes to a caring, inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist teachers in delivering and evaluating learning programs, adapting materials to meet pupils\' individual needs.
* Provide one-on-one and group support for students, including physical, emotional, and educational assistance.
* Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, supporting pupils\' well-being and fostering their independence.
* Undertake personal care routines, if required, and contribute to activity planning.
Qualifications and requirements
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills (e.g., GCSE English and Maths or equivalent).
* Enthusiasm, good listening skills, and an ability to follow instructions.
* Basic IT skills and understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

* Training will be provided, so prior experience is not essential.
* All adults employed by the Trust have a responsibility for data protection and must observe the principles of the GDPR Regulations.
* All applicants must be able to provide evidence of Right to Work in the UK prior to commencement of employment. As part of UK immigration rules, you will be required to provide Home Office stipulated documentation prior to interview.
