Senior Quantity Surveyor – Exeter, Devon
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum package.
Full‑time, Permanent (hybrid).
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from inception through to final account.
* Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages, valuations and variations.
* Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasts.
* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
* Producing accurate cost reports and financial updates for senior management.
* Managing subcontractor accounts and payment applications.
* Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the construction or civil engineering sector.
* Experience working on projects involving groundworks, earthworks, remediation, infrastructure, enabling works or civil engineering.
* Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management.
* Proven ability to manage projects independently and oversee multiple schemes.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
* Full UK Driving Licence.
