The Role
As a Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET) Technician at our Luton site, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring vehicles are returned to pre-accident condition safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your work will directly support the productivity and success of the wider workshop team.
Key Responsibilities
14. Perform all MET related tasks, including diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and component removal/refitting
15. Follow manufacturer repair methods and ensure safe, accurate work at all times
16. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess faults and plan repairs
17. Collaborate with Bodyshop and Paint teams to maintain smooth workflow
18. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
19. Keep accurate records and maintain a clean, organised workspace
What We’re Looking For
20. Proven experience as an MET Technician in a bodyshop or accident repair setting
21. Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
22. ATA accreditation preferred, or willingness to achieve it with our support
23. Excellent attention to detail and a passion for high-quality work
24. Team player with strong time management and communication skills
25. Full UK driving licence
