* Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for category expansion.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies.
* Manage category performance and provide insights to improve product positioning and profitability.
* Work closely with agencies to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.
* Present category strategies and performance updates to senior stakeholders.
* Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Support the development of long-term plans for the petcare category.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager - Petcare will have:
* Proven experience in retail category management
* Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and consumer insights.
* Ability to develop and execute effective category strategies.
* Experience collaborating with marketing and sales teams to achieve shared goals.
* Excellent communication skills for presenting to stakeholders and managing agency relationships.
