Potensis is proud to partner with a leading Residential Developer who are seeking to add a Communications Executive into their Building Safety team.


Role Overview


You will assist the communications function in planning and delivering both internal and external messaging for projects within a building-safety focused division. The role involves providing timely, clear and consistent communications across a range of audiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Write and adapt communications for a broad range of external partners and stakeholders, such as building owners, property managers and local authorities
* Create information and updates for residents and leaseholders, and support customer-facing teams with engagement where required
* Help manage enquiries from the media and elected representatives, producing accurate and prompt responses
* Maintain a professional, courteous approach in all stakeholder interactions
* Contribute to the planning and coordination of communications activity across projects, ensuring messaging is issued to the right groups at the right time
* Produce regular reports on communication outputs and outcomes
* Track industry news and media coverage, sharing relevant updates on a routine basis
* Assist with internal updates and announcements within the building-safety team
* Provide support for on-site visits, briefings and events as needed
* Develop content and undertake additional communications tasks where appropriate
* Work in line with organisational values, policies and processes


Skills & Experience


To thrive in this position, you should bring:

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and editing ability
* Excellent organisation and planning capability, with strong attention to detail
* High competence across key Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues
* Confidence in building productive relationships and influencing others
* A professional, positive manner when working with internal or external contacts
* Resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong time-management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
* Degree-level education in a relevant field
* Prior experience in a communications role, either in-house or agency, is advantageous
