The Role
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of swarf management systems across customer sites. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys travelling, problem-solving, and providing high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide on-site servicing of machines, pumps, switches, and system operations
2. Install swarf management systems on machine tools (e.g. Mazak, Matsuura, Okuma)
3. Deliver breakdown coverage, fault-finding, and repair work across the UK & Ireland
4. Check machine interfaces and ensure operational efficiency
5. Travel to customer sites with occasional overnight stays (paid door-to-door)
Skills & Experience
Essential:
6. Mechanical bias with some electrical work
7. Willingness to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland
8. Ability to work independently and to customer deadlines
9. Flexible approach with excellent problem-solving skills
Desirable:
10. Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications
11. Previous field service experience in machinery or related sectors
