Assembly Technician Location: Storrington Salary: £12.50 starting rate, negotiable depending on experience Hours: Full-time, 8:30am-17:00pm Are you a skilled assembler with a passion for precision and problem-solving? Key Responsibilities: Prototype Assembly: Build complex prototypes and small-batch products using techniques such as soldering, brazing, bonding, resin impregnation, electrical and mechanical measurement, all in line with engineering drawings and detailed procedures. Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing and quality checks on components and finished assemblies, ensuring they meet rigorous standards. Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other departments to offer feedback, solve technical challenges, and contribute to development. Documentation: Accurately record assembly steps, modifications, and test results in line with internal quality and documentation standards. Technical Skills Required: Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. Familiar with mechanical and electrical testing and measurement tools. Practical experience in soldering, brazing, hand fitting, and general component assembly. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
