About the Role
This position is with a management contractor rather than a main contractor. You will work in partnership with clients, focusing on delivering projects with transparency and shared goals. You won't need to battle unforeseen problems like ground issues, subcontractor failures, or design delays, as these are managed collaboratively.
Your responsibilities include managing costs and margins for your employer, with all costs and profits communicated openly with the client. While the focus is on cost and profit management, maintaining quality and profitability remains essential.
Project Details
The primary focus is on residential projects, specifically city centre Student Residential, Private Sale, or Build-to-Rent apartment blocks, including RC Frame and Steel Frame structures. Your first project will be a 400-unit Student Accommodation in Birmingham, with future projects across the West Midlands.
Candidate Profile
You will be the lead on-site, reporting directly to the directors who uphold an open book culture. The team values a collaborative ethos, and you will benefit from approachable senior management with industry experience who support your professional growth.
