Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner’s (PWP) to join City Health Care Partnership’s NHS Hull Talking Therapies Service.
Responsibilities
* You will be providing evidence-based step 2 CBT based treatment interventions and service assessments in a split treatment and assessment post.
* You will be delivering these interventions in a range of settings and through a range of mediums such as face to face to and telephone.
* You will be working with a diverse range of clients from a variety of backgrounds and whose first language may not be English.
Qualifications and requirements
* As a qualified PWP you will have knowledge and experience of working with people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. It is therefore essential that you can communicate sensitively and effectively, are non-judgmental and compassionate.
* The successful candidates will be proactive in their own development and will engage in peer and individual supervision. You will be able to work flexibly across the area of service delivery and will be proactive in organisational, service and personal development.
* The successful candidate will be offered appropriate training, support, and supervision to develop their skills and support the acquisition and / or maintenance of their registration.
