We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team at the Silverstone facility. In this role, you will conduct inspections of incoming materials and in-process components to ensure they meet strict quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be vital to our success.
* Lead and perform detailed dimensional inspections using Polyworks, PC-DMIS software, and utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Portable Arms, and Trackers to verify product specifications.
* Support manufacturing in performing in-process inspections to ensure components adhere to design and manufacturing standards.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of the QRS system to document inspection findings and communicate results effectively.
* Assist in maintaining quality control documentation and records.
* Collaborate with the Quality Control Inspection Manager and other departments to address quality issues.
* Participate in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
* Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and functioning correctly to maintain measurement accuracy.
* Follow health and safety regulations during inspections.

What do you need to bring to the team?
* Previous experience in a quality control role, preferably in motorsport or aerospace industries, working with both composite and metallic materials.
* Thorough understanding of metrology software Polyworks and Pcdmis, including offline programming.
* Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
* Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment, including Polyworks and Pcdmis software.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify defects and prepare detailed reports, including dimensional analysis and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
* Strong communication skills to convey findings clearly and effectively.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, along with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
