MCS Group is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our client's Belfast team on an initial 1-month contract, with strong potential for extensions. Acting as the first point of contact, this Service Desk Analyst will handle inbound calls and ServiceNow tickets, providing remote support for global clients, triaging issues, and resolving or escalating. This is a customer-facing role suited to someone from an MSP background, confident providing support via the phones and calm during busy periods and under pressure. The working hours for this temporary contract are Thursday - Monday inclusive, 1pm - 10pm You'll join a collaborative Belfast-based team operating within a global follow-the-sun model. Key Requirements Minimum 2 years' IT support experience, ideally in an MSP environment. Demonstrable experience in a similar role, providing external support to clients via the telephone and a ticketing platform. Strong Microsoft environment knowledge (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory) Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools Basic networking (DNS/DHCP), VPN and remote access troubleshooting Understanding of patching, policies and endpoint management Excellent communication skills and strong ticket ownership Salary : £30k - £35k per annum (paid as a rate per hour) Duration : 1-month, potential extension.
