The posts are fixed term to meet the needs of the service and location will be determined at recruitment (VCC Cardiff or Abergavenny).

This post is fixed term/secondment for 1x 6 months 2x 12 months to cover maternity leave. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
To work in all areas of the radiotherapy department i.e. on treatment units and in the pre-treatment area, carrying out accurate and consistent pre-treatment and treatment techniques.
To help organise the work load in the various functions of the department and take responsibility for training and supervising more junior radiographers and students.
To deputise in the role of team leader in the absence of the Band 7 radiographer, as required.
To be part of a large multi-disciplinary team and to be involved in the total care of patients undergoing radiotherapy.
To work flexibly according to the demands of the service, including weekends and across more than one site.
To participate in out of hours and on-call working as required.
