This is an opportunity for a passionate and ambitious Social Media Manager to support TDC’s digital growth. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing social media strategies and an excellent understanding of the digital landscape, digital campaigns and best practices.
Role Overview
As TDC advances into an exciting phase of growth, we seek a dynamic and proficient Social Media Manager to join our expanding digital team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our digital team, spearheading strategic initiatives across key responsibilities including audience analysis, content creation, social media strategy, community management, analytics, and more. Your role will drive our digital communications and marketing efforts forward, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the development and execution of social media strategies across key platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
* Lead the creation of best-in-class social media campaigns aligned with client goals and industry trends.
* Collaborate with account teams to produce social-first content that resonates with target audiences.
* Conduct social audits to evaluate the effectiveness of active media channels and optimise strategies accordingly.
* Manage social media calendars and serve as a central point of contact for digital requests.
* Crafting compelling and concise copy for social media, blogs, newsletters, and ads. Ability to write captions that drive engagement and conversions.
* Cultivate and manage relationships with influencers and content creators to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
* Create visually appealing social-first assets and the ability to edit videos for social platforms.
* Oversee the content & community management as well as publishing for social channels and websites
* Develop client content plans and collaborate with internal and external creatives to produce digital assets.
* Execute paid social media campaigns and collaborate with SEO and growth teams to optimise performance.
* Analyse website and social analytics to extract actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.
* Deliver comprehensive reports and insights to TDC's leadership team, clients, and stakeholders.
* Ensure exceptional service delivery to current and prospective clients, maintaining consistency and alignment with company policies.
Key Skills & Experience
* Minimum 4-5 years of agency experience in digital marketing/communications roles, with a strong focus on social media strategy, content creation, and influencer engagement.
* Passion for tracking digital and social media trends and translating insights into actionable strategies.
* Proven expertise in developing and executing paid social media campaigns, including setup, monitoring, and analysis.
* Experience in marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences, with a keen understanding of audience segmentation and targeting.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities, including talent development and performance management.
* Strong visual design skills and the ability to create social-first graphics.
* Exceptional project management skills, a strong eye for detail, and strong organisational abilities.
* Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling copy and narratives.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and client engagements.
