Maintenance Team Leader
Location: Wellingborough
Hours - Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (On-call duties required)
Contract Type - Full-time, Permanent
Salary - £55,000
My client is looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to manage and lead our on-site engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring that all machinery and ancillary equipment are running efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. You will play a key part in the site’s operational success by planning, coordinating and driving maintenance activities while leading a high-performing engineering team.
You’ll report to the Engineering Manager and work closely with cross-functional departments, contractors, and group engineering to ensure compliance, project delivery, and maintenance excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the site Engineering Team with a hands-on, proactive approach to achieving high performance.
2. Manage daily team activities and individual performance in line with company policies.
3. Plan and oversee all site maintenance work, including coordination with contractors.
4. Ensure engineering projects are delivered on time and within budget.
