Qualifications:
GCSE English, Maths and ICT/Equivalent - C grade or higher
Level 3 PT Certificate
Undergraduate degree within the sport/coaching and exercise science field (Desirable but not required)
2 years + working in the health and fitness industry, ideally working as a fitness instructor, self‑employed personal trainer/Employed coach.
This is a Senior coaching position, we need you to have the confidence and ability be able deliver a high standard of coaching and accountability to our members from day one.
This is a Senior coaching position, you will be joining our team not only as a full‑time coach but as someone who can lead from the front, hold junior members of the team accountable and set the highest of standards every single day.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
* Up to 6 hours of gym floor coaching per day
* Look after a cohort of members, your accountability group who you will check in with each week
* Deliver gym onboarding sessions to our new members
* Support In planning gym-based events
* Support the head coach with programming and team CPD sessions
* Maintain and keep the cleanliness and presentation of the gym to the highest of standards
* Produce social media content in line with our companies values which supports our growth
* Mentor Junior coaches and new starters to our team to support in their professional development

Not only will you be able to focus on providing the best coaching possible on and off the gym floor. You will have the ability to inspire and hold the junior members of the team accountable to your own high standards. This role is as much about being a great coach as it is about being a great leader.
You will need to work well under pressure, be able to remain organised and time efficient with your varying on and off the gym floor tasks. A strong and positive work ethic are key to this role. We’re not looking for someone to “clock in and clock out” to collect a pay check before moving onto the next thing…
Punctuality and presentation are key, you will be a senior member of the team, this means not only acting the part but looking the part. We expect the highest of standards in personal presentation, the correct uniform at all times along with great time keeping skills to be prepared for all coaching hours and meetings.
Lastly, we want initiative and innovation. Were looking for a quick thinking, solutions-based individual that not only will bring ideas to the table, but will act on them and produce quality.
