About the role
* Lead or support solution design across complex programmes including Policy Admin System migrations, data platform evolution, and digital transformation
* Translate business needs into executable architecture using C4, ArchiMate, and modern frameworks
* Collaborate across architecture layers—security, infrastructure, data, integration, and networks
* Influence enterprise direction through cloud, AI, observability, and simplification strategies
* Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and architectural excellence
What you'll bring
* Proven experience in solution architecture within regulated industries (financial services, pensions, insurance preferred)
* Hands-on expertise with Azure, .NET, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, REST APIs, CI/CD, and container orchestration
* Strong grasp of Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, and modern integration patterns
* Engineering background with fluency in Java, .NET, Python, and modern frontend frameworks
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
