Job Title: Manual Tester
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid/On-site)

Salary: £45,000 per annum

We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Manual Tester to join our QA team on a fixed-term basis. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive manual testing practices.

Key Responsibilities
* Execute manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system functionality and requirements.
* Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using standard bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
* Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans and test reports.
* Support release cycles by performing testing on different environments.
* Ensure test coverage across all key areas of the application.
Key Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Manual Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst.
* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
* Experience testing web-based and/or mobile applications.
* Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Basic understanding of automation testing concepts or tools.
* Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
