About the Role
Northampton Childrens Trust is seeking adedicated Advanced Practitionerto join ourSafeguarding Team.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:
* Provide expert guidance and support to social workers within the safeguarding team.
* Lead on complex cases, ensuring the highest standards of practice and compliance.
* Contribute to service development and mentor colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
* Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare
* Assigned a small, manageable caseload to allow time for other key responsibilities
* Mentor and support newly qualified and less experienced social workers.
* Work closely with your Team Manager and support the team in their absence.
* Be a key player in safeguarding vulnerable children and planning for permanence.
* Ensure adherence to legislation, guidance, and best practice.
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with currentSocial Work England registration.
* Significant post-qualifying experience in safeguarding and child protection.
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to manage complex cases and deliver high-quality outcomes.
