The Safeguarding Team are looking for a resilient Safeguarding Lead to support the work of the Head of Safeguarding & Student Wellbeing across the college sites of Hereford and Holme Lacy campuses.
This exciting role involves line management of staff within the mentoring team and providing professional support to mentors with individual case management. The postholder will also maintain a reduced caseload of students, delivering holistic wellbeing support within the college environment.
The role is central to supporting students to enhance their safety, health, and overall wellbeing, while promoting retention and enabling them to achieve academic success. Working collaboratively with college staff and external partner agencies will be a key aspect of the role, ensuring coordinated and effective support for students.
The successful applicant must possess the drive, energy and enthusiasm for such a pivotal role and have experience of providing pastoral and welfare related services for with a range of client groups.
