Treasury Specialist
Job Type - Fixed-Term, Part-Time, Hybrid (4 months)
Location - Central Support, Hemel Hempstead, with some travel to our parks
What we need, in a nutshell:
We're seeking an enthusiastic Treasury Specialist to manage various aspects of the Treasury functions at Away Resorts. The role involves ensuring compliance with internal processes, managing bank accounts, and safeguarding cash support for parks.

Key responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end processes for opening and closing bank accounts, including signatories and online banking access
* Develop and maintain relationships with third parties such as banks and cash carriers, and coordinate related administration and reporting
* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and control accounts, investigating and resolving variances
* Review and update department policies and procedures, implementing process improvements
* Review payments outside BACS to prevent duplicates
* Support parks with cash processes, investigating discrepancies
* Provide accurate and timely reports of costs and income for management accounts
* Investigate overs/unders to ensure cash safeguarding on parks
Skills, experience, and qualities you'll need:
* AAT/CIMA qualification or equivalent (desired)
* At least 1 year of experience in a treasury department
* Experience working under tight deadlines
* Ability to work under pressure and produce accurate, high-quality work
* Strong organizational and analytical skills
* Attention to detail
* Good communication skills and a team player
* Ability to challenge existing processes
Experience in a holiday park role is a plus.
