Job Title: Campus Attendant

Status: Permanent, 37 hours per week

Working Pattern: 7.00 am until 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. (Including breaks, with the requirement to be flexible to meet business needs)

Closing Date: Midnight, Sunday 21st June 2026.

Assessment Centre Date: 1st July 2026

About the role

We are looking for a motivated individual to ensure the Reaseheath Campus site is clean and presented to the highest standards at all times, this will include but not be limited to waste management and recycling, litter picking, cleaning areas and monitoring waste collections.

Key responsibilities:

  • Litter picking, cleaning areas, emptying litter bins, monitoring waste collections Waste management and recycling,
  • Assisting the domestics team and collecting and delivering supplies around the campus.
  • To assist with caretaking roles for events and to cover for holidays and sickness
  • The successful candidate will:

  • Have GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or willingness to work towards)
  • Be able to work on their own around the campus in all weather conditions.
  • A good awareness and understanding of health and safety legislation and adhere to safe operating procedures
  • Desire to undertake continued training in the use of maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to manage and work within a team, flexibly and with a “can do” attitude
  • Communicate with individuals on all levels including students, colleagues and visitors

Industry professionals joining the College in an academic role, will complete their Further Education Training whilst in post.

    Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must also have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this. In addition, online checks will be carried out during the recruitment process. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
