Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wigan. The Planner will be responsible for scheduling training sessions, managing instructor and vehicle availability, coordinating with trainees, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. Additional duties include maintaining detailed records, addressing customer inquiries, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. The Planner will play a vital role in streamlining processes and maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
* Scheduling and planning skills to manage resources, including vehicles and instructor assignments effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with trainees, instructors, and team members.
* Proficiency in record-keeping, organization, and attention to detail to maintain accurate schedules and documentation.
* Customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and provide exceptional support to clients.
* Adaptability and problem-solving skills for addressing changes and challenges in a dynamic environment.
* Familiarity with transportation, driver training, or logistics industries is preferred.
* Competence in using scheduling software and computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, calendars).
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience in planning or logistical coordination.
