Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Hybrid - Remote with occasional travel to Malvern, Worcestershire (1–2 days every 2 weeks).
A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing company specialising in Enterprise Content Management solutions. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to own the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract close. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, engage with senior stakeholders, and manage relationships to deliver long-term client success. You’ll collaborate with marketing on go-to-market campaigns and with technical colleagues to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
This position is hybrid: largely remote, with 1–2 days per fortnight required in the Malvern office.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting to closing.
* Research target markets and develop outreach strategies.
* Engage senior decision-makers via phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and events.
* Arrange and lead prospect meetings, capture requirements, and present tailored solutions.
* Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to deliver tailored client proposals.
* Drive prospects through the CRM pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting.
* Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
* Proven track record in B2B sales (ideally software, IT services, or enterprise content management).
* Strong business development and negotiation skills.
* Experience with outbound prospecting and pipeline management.
* Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
* Familiarity with CRM software and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Experience in software partner channels or pre-sales consultancy.
* Exposure to enterprise content management or document management solutions.
Qualifications
* Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in software, IT services, or enterprise content management.
* Ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
* Experience with outbound prospecting and pipeline management; proficient with CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
