This role may suit a strong Health & Safety Advisor, with strong experience in Construction to take the next step up in their career. You will be responsible for; Ensuring the delivery of Health & Safety Policy requirements, goals, and objectives, and implementing effective arrangements to identify and manage occupational risks. Manage two H&S Officers (one Full time, and one Part time) You will oversee the monitoring of workplace conditions and welfare, minimising the potential for injury or ill health. You will provide competent and professional advice on health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental issues, fostering a sustainable safety culture within the organisation. Additionally, you will play a vital role in governance, ensuring compliance with key stakeholder requirements, regulatory obligations, permits, consents, and company goals. Undertake risk assessments and reviews, including COSHH, Environmental impact and Manual Handling and develop subsequent safe systems of work. Complete regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with HSE requirements. Investigate all accidents, near misses and complaints of ill health etc. Implement & develop the sub-contractors' policy and procedures. Essential Criteria Knowledge and experience of dealing with Construction HSE standards, including ISO45001 and ISO14001 Ability to place HS&E with the wider business planning context. Experience of driving an improved Health & Safety culture across the business. Full details will be discussed upon application.
