Overview
We are seeking a professional and attentive Hotel Night Porter. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services during overnight hours, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for all visitors. Duties
* Welcome and assist guests arriving during night hours, ensuring a smooth check-in process
* Handle guest enquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises throughout the night shift
* Respond promptly to guest requests or issues, providing solutions or escalating as appropriate
* Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure safety and security standards are upheld
* Assist with administrative tasks such as logging incidents, managing guest records, and coordinating with daytime staff if necessary
* Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of communal areas such as the lobby and reception desk during shift hours
* Support other hotel departments as required, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Requirements
* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; a strong interest in guest services is vital
* Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues
* Ability to remain calm and composed during night shifts while managing multiple responsibilities
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure safety procedures are followed effectively
* Hours will be 11pm - 7am.
