We are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding Social Worker with at least 2 years' experience and a good understanding of safeguarding adults.
Role Description
The Safeguarding Social Worker will work with adults over 18 at risk of abuse or neglect. Responsibilities include triaging safeguarding concerns and undertaking initial and s42 Enquiries in line with The Care Act (2014) and Teeswide Safeguarding Board (TSAB) policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to evaluate and analyse information, making sound decisions. This requires in-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Making Safeguarding Personal, The Human Rights Act 1998, and The Mental Capacity Act 2004. Additional duties include providing safeguarding advice and guidance to the public and professionals.
