Join a leading UK designer and manufacturer of public outdoor infrastructure and lead procurement strategy and production planning to ensure smooth, cost-effective delivery aligned with project timelines. Based near Newbury, Berkshire, you will own supplier relationships and champion continuous improvement through LEAN principles, helping drive operational excellence in a fast-growing, innovative business. Pay & Shift
* £48,000 per annum
* 40 hours per week
* Monday to Friday
Your key responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure optimum value and quality
* Manage full procurement cycle and negotiate contracts to optimise costs and delivery
* Lead production scheduling; maintain Master Production Schedule and coordinate cross-functional planning
* Oversee MRP system usage for demand forecasting and inventory control
* Monitor supplier KPIs and drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery
* Embed LEAN principles to reduce waste and enhance efficiency
* Lead, coach, and develop your team to achieve operational excellence
* Collaborate with Finance, Production, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless operations
What we're looking for
* CIPS Level 5 or equivalent procurement qualification
* Proven experience in procurement management and production scheduling
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and organisational skills
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software
* Continuous improvement mindset with LEAN experience preferred
* Excellent communication skills and collaborative working approach
