Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of brand and marketing initiatives across Optical express and ACES. This role will be pivotal in shaping our brand narrative, driving awareness, and delivering customer engagement across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, analytical rigour, and cross-functional leadership to ensure brand consistency and business growth. Key Responsibilities include: Work closely with external PR agencies on industry and consumer PR campaigns to cement Optical Express’s market-leading position, focusing on brand building and driving awareness. Own the companies Influencer Campaign, working with micro and macro influencers to promote the benefits of laser eye surgery and tackle barriers to purchase including fear and awareness. Owner of organic social media strategy for a number of the Group’s brands across multiple social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube & TikTok for both consumer and recruitment marketing. Copywriting for direct marketing communications, print collateral, websites, company blog, emails and internal communications in line with key messages, brand guidelines and company tone of voice. Responsible for the execution of various TV and Radio campaigns including the development of the creative concept, script writing, production briefing, voiceover recording, as well as working with Clearcast and Adstream on approval processes. Implementing and coordinating new quarterly POS campaigns across all Optical Express clinics to support national marketing campaigns. Direct and support internal and external designers and suppliers in the production of online and offline marketing assets. Work closely with company videographers to develop content ideas, plan shoot days, edit and review video content. Collaborative working with several departments and colleagues across the business on various company projects. Event planning and management for multiple company events throughout the year. Monitor and update department annual budget on a weekly basis. Additional ad-hoc marketing requests. Qualifications and Experience: Degree level or equivalent qualification Proven marketing experience working within an agency or in-house marketing department. Experience within healthcare is desired.
