The Marsham Court Hotel has been making huge developments over the last few years, making it one of the most accessible and inclusive venues in the UK. With a focus on employee welfare, flexibility and creating a dynamic atmosphere, we pride ourselves on our amazing team. We even won a National Award to prove it! We are one of the busiest venues in Bournemouth and our team love working with the buzz and energy that comes with being a part of the Marsham Court family.
As one of our Receptionists you will:
* Welcome all of our guests and be the first port of call for all their needs
* Handle check-in and check-out procedures
* Help to take reservations and manage the reservation system
* Facilitate payments and balance the banking each day
* Help us to encourage great communication between all the departments in the hotel
* Help us to deliver amazing customer service to our guests
We are looking for people with the desire to learn and grow in an environment that encourages you to use your flare to deliver amazing experiences for our guests. We even have a dedicated Training & Development Manager focused on mentoring you and giving you the skills you need to succeed in your career, whether that be in hospitality or any other industry.
For this role we are ideally looking for candidates with hotel reception experience, but this is not essential. As long as you have the willingness to learn and good transferable skills, we would love to hear from you. This is a technical role so good computer skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.

We have developed our CREW team who work within our business to drive change in three main areas: Sustainability, Community Outreach, and Employee Welfare. These projects are designed and led by the team meaning you can be a part of the change that you want to see.

* Mental health first aid qualifications for key team members
* An increased social calendar to get our team together more often outside of work
* A partnership with Bourne Free to deliver an event for the elderly LGBTQ+ community
* A huge fundraising event for Dorset Children’s Foundation
