An exciting site based opportunity has arisen with one of our Nationwide clients as a Maintenance Engineer for a site in Northampton, You will carry out Electrical or Mechanical and building services maintenance activities to the full with total compliance and in a timely and professional manner. This is a key role within the business where a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks need to be undertaken, paying particular attention to Health & Safety. This will involve electrical and mechanical fault-find and repair of building services.
* Management of all maintenance works on site
* Completion of PPM's (fire safety, H&S & compliance)
* Manage all external contractors
* Carry out small reactive works on site
* Provide desk-based support for all businesses units as part of a service-focused support team for all Facilities issues and equipment failures
* Manage escalations between business and our 3 rd party service providers through to completion and effectively communicate call progress to all interested parties
* Provide daily administration of financial reporting to Site Operations Managers and senior operations team
* To build and continually improve a central source of known issues and procedures to assist the support process
* Apprenticeship served or relevant Commercial qualifications within an Electrical or Mechanical (AC or Commercial Gas or Plumbing) trades
* Qualified to the 18th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations
* Knowledge of other trade skills such as Basic Carpentry, plumbing etc
