Job Description:
The Enterprise Sales Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business with high potential prospects. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships at all levels, understanding client needs, and managing the sales pipeline effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing account and territory plans to ensure revenue targets and growth.
* Building strong relationships with prospects and clients, including CXO levels.
* Understanding prospects’ technology footprints, growth plans, and industry trends.
* Leading designated territories and accounts, fostering relationships, and encouraging accounts to become references for IFS.
* Creating comprehensive business plans addressing prospect needs.
* Identifying and selling to businesses that match IFS’s ideal customer profile.
* Researching industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identify product improvements or new offerings.
* Maintaining a disciplined sales pipeline and leveraging support organizations like marketing and partners.
* Utilizing IFS solutions effectively in sales pursuits.
* Closing sales through strategic execution and value articulation.
* Supporting promotions and events in the territory.
* Maintaining CRM data accuracy and executing upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Proven hunter mentality with a robust business development plan.
* Extensive experience in selling complex business software, IT solutions, or management consulting.
* Experience with enterprise software and in service industries.
* Track record of successful complex sales at the C-level, with a consultative approach.
* Experience with large transactions, transformation projects, and long sales cycles in a competitive environment.
