and main responsibilities The main responsibility of this role is to provide specialist Level 3 endodontic care within the consultant‑led restorative dental service at Acton Health Centre. This includes assessing and treating complex endodontic cases referred through the pan‑London pathway, delivering high‑quality clinical care, and undertaking triage and related administrative duties. The post holder is also expected to contribute to clinical leadership by supporting the development of specialist dentistry within the service, offering training to colleagues, and actively participating in clinical governance, audit, appraisal, and quality assurance activities.

Experience
Essential criteria
1. Full registration with GDC and defence organisation Successful completion of a 3 year full time (or part time equivalent) training programme in Endodontics Name on GDC specialist list in Endodontics (or eligible within 3 months) Postgraduate degree (e.g. FDS RCS / MClin Dent / MSc)
2. Clinical skills appropriate for specialist level, in Endodontics Competent to manage full range of treatment in Endodontics Pain diagnosis skills
3. Understanding of clinical governance and risk management Management skills and effective leadership within a service and dental team Effective participation in audit and implementation of outcomes Appropriate IT skills, including use of dental IT software
