We are looking to recruit a friendly, organised and compassionate Admin Support Officer to join our team at Stichell House, a residential care home for older people. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing essential administration and reception support to ensure the smooth running of the home. You will act as a key point of contact for residents, families, staff, and visitors, helping to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Location: Stichell House Residential Care Home, Greatham, Hartlepool Hours: 24 hours per week on a rota basis. Mondays to Sundays (including Bank Holidays). Summary of main duties: - Deliver high-quality administrative and reception support across the service, including daily management of electronic rotas, timesheets and payroll information, accurate record-keeping, meeting administration, correspondence, and maintaining a friendly, professional reception environment. - Provide operational support to managers and staff, assisting with diaries, supervisions and appraisals, training administration, office and equipment management, resident and staff records, internal communications, and coordination with external agencies to support the smooth running of the service in line with GDPR and charity policies. Key requirements - Evidence of IT literacy, including competency in Microsoft Word and Excel - Experience in an administrative or clerical role, including reception duties Please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship as we have fully allocated our available certificates of sponsorship.
