Role Overview:
Ensure that all newly produced injection mould tooling components meet quality standards before production. Lead investigations, document inspections, and support tooling improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct inspections on tooling components and trial outputs.
* Maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
* Lead root cause investigations for product issues.
* Coordinate internal audits and investigations.
* Drive tooling design and performance improvements.
* Manage tooling data, change tracking, and usage analysis.
* Support decisions on tool replacement and maintenance.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in a quality-focused engineering or manufacturing role, preferably in tooling or injection moulding.
* Knowledge of IATF/ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
* Proficiency with inspection tools like CMM, 3D scanners, vision systems.
* Data analysis skills; Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Computer literacy in quality metrics tracking and documentation.
