Overview
The post holder will be a qualified and registered Mental Health Nurse and will provide clinical leadership to an established and developing team of clinicians.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in an PICU in-patient setting and will demonstrate dynamic and innovative practice. The Service strives to provide high quality acute inpatient mental health care to the local population and the post holder would be expected to demonstrate leadership and resilience in the face of the day to day clinical, managerial and professional demands of the role. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate they have the skills, knowledge and experience to provide clinical leadership to manage the service, will require excellent interpersonal communication skills, be able to work across agencies and services and demonstrate a high level understanding of local developments. The post holder will be expected to take charge in the absence of the Ward Manager who has overall continuing responsibility. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
