You’ll take ownership of marketing design at TrustedHousesitters — setting vision, elevating standards, and delivering creative that drives measurable growth. From video and motion to evolving our brand identity, your work will help shape how we connect with pet lovers around the world.
You’ll lead a small but capable design team, work closely with marketing and exec stakeholders, and partner with agencies to deliver high-performing campaigns. If you're looking to lead meaningful work with strategic autonomy, creative freedom, and visible business impact — this is the opportunity.
The Role
As Marketing Design Lead, you’ll guide the creative direction for marketing at TrustedHousesitters. You’ll lead a team of designers, drive campaign performance, evolve our brand system, and create standout visual storytelling. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends creative vision with data-driven execution.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a marketing design team (currently 3), building culture, structure, and standards
* Drive creative strategy across brand, performance, and growth marketing
* Design high-impact campaigns using video, motion, UGC, and interactive formats
* Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Product Design, Campaigns, Exec) to deliver strategic campaigns
* Collaborate with our paid media agency to test, learn, and iterate creative
* Set and maintain our evolving brand identity across channels
* Champion the use of user-generated content across ads, landing pages, and product touchpoints
* Introduce and optimise tools and workflows (including gen AI) to scale creative output
* Stay hands-on with high-priority creative work while supporting your team to succeed
What You’ll Bring
* A strong portfolio showcasing brand evolution, video/motion design, and performance creative
* Experience leading creative teams and driving cross-functional work in fast-paced environments
* Deep understanding of content formats across Meta, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc
* Ability to connect creative vision with conversion metrics and business goals
* Fluency in Adobe CC, After Effects, Premiere, and openness to tools like CapCut or gen AI platforms
* Familiarity with modular content systems, dynamic creative optimisation (DCO), and automation tools
* Comfort balancing creative direction with execution — you lead by example
* Experience in B2C, high-growth, or mission-driven companies (agency or in-house)
* High agency, action-bias, and a collaborative, proactive mindset
