Overview
You will be providing customer care to people of all ages, supervising activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the pool area, and ensuring the safe handling and set up of pool equipment. And of course, when needed - you'll help to save lives.
Responsibilities
* Provide customer care to people of all ages and interact heavily with customers.
* Supervise activities and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the pool area.
* Ensure the safe handling and set up of pool equipment.
* Act as a lifeguard to ensure pool safety and respond to emergencies as required.
* Contribute to the running of the leisure centre as part of a close-knit team.
Qualifications
* Strong swimming skills and it is essential to hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society).
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
* Safety conscious, vigilant, and able to deal with pressurised situations.
