Essential Qualifications, Experiences and Skills
* A relevant bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline and/or substantial, recent, and relevant HSEQ experience
* NEBOSH (National General Certificate) qualified or equivalent accreditation (desirable)
* Train the Trainer qualification or similar (desirable)
* Minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, product, or industrial environment
* Sound working knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, and and UK SHEQ legislation
* Demonstrated experience in conducting and monitoring risk assessments and audits.
* Proven ability to advise managers and supervisors, conduct H&S investigations, and deliver effective training
* Strong capability in developing, implementing, and reviewing Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE reporting systems
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
* Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
